Trevor Hall is an American singer/songwriter and musician.
Born in South Carolina, Hall moved to California quite young to attend Idyllwild Arts Academy, where he trained in classical guitar and began to practice yoga and meditation. He released his first song at age 16 and began preforming shows and touring.
His style of music—folk and reggae with roots in Eastern Mysticism—stems from time spent in India and a traditional Hindu ashram in Southern California. A lot of the music includes traditional chants in Hindu and Sanskrit.
His fans are referred to as the Village, or Villagers.
Hall’s eighth studio album and first independent record, The Fruitful Darkness, will complete its year-long release with the final installment in Spring 2018.
