R&B and Pop singer/songwriter, Torica, was born and raised in New York City. As a child, Torica nurtured her passion for writing and singing and captured the attention of others through her lyrics and songs.
Torica began her professional career writing and collaborating with DTP/Geffen’s recording artist, Field Mob on their first single titled “Sick of Being Lonely” – produced by Jazze Pha. The success of the single led to several nominations, including Grammy and Source award; as well as performances on MTV, BET, the Jimmy Kimmel Show, and articles in XXL, and Vibe Magazine.
Upon weeks of “Sick of Being Lonely” on the billboard charts, Torica began to emerge as she continued to pen notable songs for LA Reid, Snoop Dog, Jermaine Dupri, Gucci Mane, Teairra Mari, Lloyd and Monica for her Grammy nominated album, “Still Standing.”
Along side of her self-proclaimed success, Torica drew the attention of producer Bryan-Michael Cox who arranged a publishing deal with Warner Chappel through Chris Hicks. Thus, establishing Torica’s contribution to over one million record sales.
Currently, Torica divides her time between NY, ATL, and Miami where she’s working with producers & writers, such as – Mike City, Polow da Don, Andrea Remanda, Eric Hudson, Evan Bogart, and David Quinones to release her debut album, “A Beautiful Mess.”
