Topi Mandela is a Dallas-based recording artist, songwriter and entertainer who grew up in Detroit, Michigan, where he began writing raps at age 13.

Born in Zimbabwe, Topi (birth name: Tapiwa Mudehwe) and his parents migrated to the United States when he was about 2 years old and later moved with his family to Dallas in 2013. After turning 17 years old, he got his start in recording music and eventually went on to release his first mixtape Village Green as a free download in October of 2016.
