About Tommy Stinson

Tommy Stinson is a bassist best known for his role as one of the founding members of punk group The Replacements.

Stinson also replaced Duff McKagan in Guns N’ Roses in 1997, touring with the group extensively and performing on their Chinese Democracy album. He left the group in 2016, prompting McKagan’s return.

He was also the bassist for Soul Asylum from 2005 until 2012, playing on their albums The Silver Lining and Delayed Reaction.
