Thomas Kaluba (born 28 August, 1984) known professionally as Tommy D Namafela or Kabwata MP, is a Zambian Hip-hop/rapper and songwriter who broke into scene in the late 2006. He’s arguably concidered as one of the most impeccable hardcore rappers to have engineered street rap in Zambia coming from his street anthem Masese and gravitating music of street oriented rappers Like CHISENGA (formerly C.R.I.S.I.S), Daddy Zemus, Keith Mutale and James Chamanyazi.
Although he attended National Institute of Public Administration College (NIPA) for a diploma in Accounting.
Tommy, started writing lyrics that talk about dealing and street life, an act he saw as a child on the streets of Katondo.
Signed currently under Mafela Music Group, Tommy D is known for albums namely Mafasho released in 2007, Masese for 2009 and Mbasela unleashed in 2011.
