Thomas Such (born in Gelsenkirchen, Germany on February 19th, 1963) better known as Tom Angelripper, is a German vocalist and songwriter best known as the lead vocalist and bass player of German thrash metal band, Sodom.

Angelripper formed Sodom with guitarist Frank “Aggressor” Testegen in 1981 in the western German industrial town of Gelsenkirchen. He’s the only remaining member in the band and featured in Sodom’s all studio albums as the bass player and vocalist.

He also founded a band called Onkel Tom Angelripper that plays thrash metal covers of schlagers, drinking songs, and Christmas carols.
