Stephanie Young Hwang (born August 1, 1989), professionally known as Tiffany Young, is a Korean-American singer. Tiffany was born in San Francisco, California but grew up in Diamond Bar, California with her father, an older brother and an older sister. Tiffany’s mom had died when she was only a little girl. At age 15, Tiffany’s older brother encouraged Tiffany to go participate in a singing contest. During the Summer of 2015, Tiffany began to work on a solo record, which would be a transition to a new chapter in her life. Tiffany said that Girls' Generation Taeyeon was a big help with the preparation process for the album.
The album, titled I Just Wanna Dance was released in May of 2016, making Tiffany the second member of Girls' Generation to release a solo debut album. The EP peaked at No.3 on Billboard’s World Album Chart and South Korea’s Gaon Album Chart.
In October of 2017, Tiffany decided to leave S.M Entertainment, currently her future with Girls' Generation is still in discussion.
