About Third World Don

Emerging from the streets of Kingston, Jamaica. Third World Don spearheads a new sound heavily influenced by Hip-Hop, Reggae, Dancehall, & R&B.
Getting his start as a producer crafting songs for Artists like Lil Wayne, Trina & T-Pain Don began receiving recognition as a vocalist after going platinum with his group “Wizard Sleeve” in the UK with their hit single Riverside (Let’s Go!) released by Data Records in 2010. The single peaked on the charts at No. 1 in the UK & Ireland and is noted as one of BBC Radio 1’s top 40 singles of 2010 with over 23 Million streams on the digital platform spotify.
After Relocating to Los Angeles in 2017 Don inked a recording contract with 10k Projects, a label owned by Elliot Grainge, son of billionaire music mogul and Universal Music Group’s chairman and chief executive officer Lucian Grainge. He then released his single Ray Charles to much critical acclaim, amassing over 1.3 Million streams on Soundcloud. The song is also featured on Universal Music Group’s curated Hip Hop Alternative compilation album. Pharrell Williams, Logic, Ty Dolla $ign, Big Sean and Chance The Rapper are also featured on this compilation.

Don has since released a handful of buzzworthy tracks such as Blessed, Kelly Price, and F.D.B, a raunchy in your face cut that features label mate Trippie Redd. His long awaited EP Trenchtown was released in november 2018 and features Dancehall/Reggae legend Sizzla Kalonji.
