Third Day is a contemporary and southern rock band from Marietta, GA formed in 1991. The band is composed of lead singer/acoustic guitarist Mac Powell and Mark Lee on electric guitar. The band has released 13 albums and won multiple GRAMMY and Dove Awards. In 2009, the band was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, which makes them arguably one of the pioneers of the Christian music industry.

On March 2, 2018, Third Day announced that they’d embark on their Farewell Tour as a way to put the nearly 30 year old band to rest. Though the band would be over and done, Powell continues to pursue music on his own.
