Theo Impala is a collaboration between Theophilus London and Kevin Parker, from the Australian psych-rock outfit known as Tame Impala. They first teased material on Twitter in 2016. The duo performed together at the Peppermint Club on October 16, 2018.

On October 22, 2018, London proceeded to release a music video for the Parker-produced “Only You”—a cover of Steve Monite’s 1984 hit. Subsequently, they discussed more material and a potential tour.
