About The Vaccines

The Vaccines are a rock band from West London formed in 2010.

It consists of Justin Hayward-Young, who provides lead vocals and sometimes rhythm guitar. Freddie Cowan is the rhythm guitarist. He is also the lead guitarist in songs where Justin doesn’t play the guitar, such as “Wreckin' Bar (Ra Ra Ra).” Árni Árnason is the bass guitarist. The rhythms that he creates can be heard easily in tracks such as on “A Lack of Understanding.” Pete Robertson was the former drummer; however, Robertson departed in 2016 to pursue a solo career under the name Sunan. Since his departure, touring members Tim Lanham (keyboardist) and Yoann Intonti (drummer) were promoted to the official lineup before the release of the band’s fourth studio album, Combat Sports.
