Punk/Ska group The Suicide Machines was founded in Detroit, Michigan, in March 1991. The group has put out seven full-length albums throughout the course of their career on the labels Hollywood Records, Side One Dummy Records, and Fat Wreck Chords, in addition to a number of EPs and singles. Members include; Jason Navarro (vocals), Dan Lukacinsky (guitar, vocals, 1991-2006), Jason Brake (bass, 1991-94), Stefan Rairigh (drums, 1991-92), Bill Jennings (drums, 1992), Derek Grant (drums, keyboards, piano, Hammond organ, Clavinet, backing vocals, 1992-98), Dave Smith (bass, 1994), Royce Nunley (bass, backing vocals, 1994-2002), Erin Pitman (drums, 1998), Ryan Vandeberghe (drums, 1998-present), “Filthy Stinking” Rich Tschirhart (bass, backing vocals, 2002-06, 2009-present), Danny Lore (bass, 2006), Justin Malek (guitar, 2009-present).
