The Spacies was formed in 2012 by Washington D.C. natives, David Cook and Ross Lara. They met through various collaborations and after working with eachother for so long became bestfriends and decided to create The Spacies.
In 2012, Ross and Dave co-wrote SHINee’s “Dream Girl” which got nominated for Song of the Year at the Golden Disk Awards. They lost to Girls' Generation’s “The Boys.”
The Spacies released their first single “Voices” on Enhanced Records in 2014.
Their 2016 single “Slow Mo” remix by Felix Palmqvist made Spotify’s Top 50 Pop chart in Australia and Canada.
In 2018 they released their first album A Little Bit Of Lost. Which features hits such as “Hesitate” and “Round & Round.”
