The Score is a duo band consisting of Eddie Anthony and Edan Dover. Eddie is a guitarist originally from California and Edan is a formally trained jazz pianist from New York. However, The Score is based in Los Angeles. They became songwriting partners with a motive to become song-writer. But later they decided to work together and they began performing their songs at the City’s Rockwood Music Hall as The Score.
They wrote their first song “Oh My Love” and released it in January 2015, via SoundCloud. But the band gained attention after Asda chose their track “Oh My Love” as the soundtrack for a major advertising campaign titled “Save Money, Live Better.”
The song “Oh My Love” hit number 43 on UK Singles Chart in July 2015, and became the most Shazamed song.
Their success of the first song caught the attention of Republic Records, and they got their first recording label.
Later in October 2017, The Score released their first debut album ATLAS with Republic Records, which hit number 7 on the iTunes U.S. Alternative Albums chart.
