About The Qemists

The Qemists are a genre-blurring British electronic rock ensemble that combine metal guitars and propulsive drum'n'bass beats like the Prodigy, Crossfaith, and Enter Shikari. Based in Brighton and coming from a non-techno background, the group channeled their considerable energy into a formidable, heavy yet danceable sound on their full-length debut, Join the Q, which featured Faith No More frontman Mike Patton and grime icon Wiley, among other notable guests. The duo’s fusion of high-energy breakbeat dance and drum'n'bass continued with 2010’s Spirit in the System, which featured major influences and tourmates Enter Shikari on “Take It Back.” A year later, they followed with Soundsystem, a mix album that combined new songs, remixes, and even some a cappella versions of older tracks. The group would not return until 2016, when they released Warrior Sound, which featured guest spots from Hacktivist (“Jungle”) and Crossfaith vocalist Kenta Koie (“Anger”)
