The Prayer Chain was formed in February 1990 when members of two disbanded bands, Laughing Boy and Tapestry, came together. Eric Campuzano, Andrew Prickett, and Tim Taber later recruited Wayne Everett to play drums so Taber could focus on vocals. Their first album, The Neverland Sessions, was recorded at Neverland Studios and produced by Steve Hindalong. The Neverland Sessions was self-released in 1991.
