The Popper (born Walter Lee Edwin) is a rapper from Kansas City, Missouri. He sometimes goes by the names Walt Lee/Dun-Deala.
He started rapping in 1996 and was a member of the group the Veteran Click. The group debuted with “Veteran’s Day” in 1997, followed by “The Day We Worldwide” in 1999 and by “The Return Of The V.C.” in 2006.
He released numerous solo albums and mixtapes, including “The Turning Point” in 2001, “Tha "I Do” Remix Disc" in 2005, “Mixtape Murder Volume 1” in 2006, “Me, Myself & I The Mixtape” and “For Tha Mo” in 2011, “Activeli” in 2016 and “My Come Up” in 2018.
