The Poets were a Scottish beat and pop group from Glasgow, active mid to late 1960s. Founder members were George Gallacher (vocals), Hume Paton (lead and 12-string guitar), Tony Myles (rhythm guitar), John Dawson (bass) and Alan Weir (drums).
