About The Peasall Sisters

The Peasell sisters were born in White House Tennessee three of six children. The trio include
Sarah (alto voice, guitar), Hannah (soprano voice, mandolin), and Leah (tenor voice, violin). There best known for singing “In the Highways” and “Angel Band” on the “Oh Brother, Were Art Thou” soundtrack. This made them the youngest vocal group (they were 5, 7 and 11 at the time) to sing on a Grammy nominated soundtrack. The original call sheet was looking for three sisters that could sing three part harmony between the ages of 8 to 12. They also sang the gospel song “Where No One Stands Alone” on the “True Grit” (2010) soundtrack.
