About The O.C. Supertones

The O.C. Supertones were a Christian ska punk band from Orange County, California. The band started out as a group called Saved by lead singer Matt Morginsky, Jason Carson the drummer, and bassist Tony Terusa. After struggling to get signed to a record label, the guys rebranded and added members, including Brian Johnson on guitar, Dan Spencer on trombone, Dave Chevalier on saxophone, and Darrin Mettler on trumpet. Shortly thereafter, the band got signed to Tooth & Nail Records, eventually shifting to the imprint BEC Recordings. The band had a solid run from 1995 through 2005, disbanded, reunited in 2010, released an album in 2012, and announced a final concert held on Facebook Live in 2017. All six members are active members in their respective churches and four of them are pastors.
