The Motors were formed in London, 1977, and consisted of Nick Garvey, Andy McMaster, Bram Tchaikovsky and Rick Slaughter.
They released three studio albums and achieved moderate chart success.
Tchaikovsky feeling fed up with being a background character, left the band in 1978; soon after, Slaughter left; Garvey and McMaster disbanded after their third and final album in 1980.
