Swedish pop band formed in September 1964. Instead of focusing on becoming big in Sweden they quickly went to Finland, where their single “Stop The Music” became a number-one hit in June 1965. During that autumn, they re-recorded it and released it in Sweden where it would peak at number one in January 1966.

This was followed by “L. O. D (Love On Delivery)” Which became their second biggest hit single, reaching number two in March of that year. A few more charting singles followed, though none of them were as successful as “Stop The Music” and “L. O. D”

During their early career they were billed as Lenne And The Lee Kings, not dropping the prefix until 1966’s “Like A Rolling Stone”
