This politically driven collaborative formed in 2001 after the core members of the record label Elefant Traks decided to collaborate rather than submit individual tracks for the labels compilation albums. What resulted was the self-titled album that featured the triple j hit “Scallops”, a song that became “an Aussie backyard anthem.”
Since their debut album they’ve released four other albums, with the groups members also releasing their own solo works along the way.
This indie hip-hop group is unique in its makeup, with the “full band” being composed of two MCs, two vocalists, and four instrumentalists. They’re also hailed as one of Australia’s most electrifying live groups.
