About The Helio Sequence

The Helio Sequence is an American indie rock duo from Beaverton, Oregon, consisting of Brandon Summers on vocals and guitars and Benjamin Weikel on drums and keyboards.

Summers and Weikel formed The Helio Sequence in 1996 when they worked together at the local music store in Beaverton.

Since then they have released an EP and six full-length albums (Com Plex, Young Effectuals, Love and Distance, Keep Your Eyes Ahead, Negotiations and The Helio Sequence).

Aside from pursuing their own music, the band’s members also collaborate with many other artists such as Modest Mouse, Kyle Craft, Genders, and Ramona Falls.
