About The Format
An alternative pop/rock band from Phoenix, Arizona. They called it quits in February of 2008, after 2 studio albums, 3 studio EPs, a live EP, and a DVD, ‘The Format, Live at the Mayan’. The singer, Nate Ruess, went on to form ‘fun.’ and recieve a Grammy in 2013. Sam Means, the other founding member, self-released ‘10 songs’ in 2016 under his record label, ‘hello’.
