The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an action RPG developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It was released worldwide on November 11, 2011, on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
The game is set 200 years after the events of Oblivion and takes place in Skyrim the northernmost province of Tamriel. The main story revolves around the player’s quest to defeat the dragon Alduin the World-Eater, who was prophesized to destroy the world.
Three DLC add-ons called Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn were released in June 2013.
