About The Devil Wears Prada

The Devil Wears Prada (stylized TDWP) is a metalcore band from Dayton Ohio. The band was founded in 2005 by vocalist Mike Hranica. TDWP is the one of the most successful of Christian Metalcore bands, and had its greatest tenure during the Christian Hard Rock era.

Every album released, save the first, has found its way to the Billboard 200 with two albums cracking the top 10 in the Billboard 200.

TDWP was featured on the cover album Punk Goes Crunk, with a cover of Big Tymers' hit song “Still Fly.”

The origin of the name does not derive from the 2006 movie The Devil Wears Prada; the name was actually derived from the book on which the movie is based on. However, after discovering the true meaning of the book they decided to change the name’s meaning to be anti-materialistic.
