The Danleers were American doo-wop group that was formed in Brooklyn, New York. The group was originally comprised of members Jimmy Weston, Johnny Lee, Willie Ephraim, Nat McCune, and Roosevelt Mays. They are best known for their debut single “One Summer Night”, this debut song sold over a million copies and peaked at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100. Unfortunately success wasn’t sustained and by the mid 1960s the group had mostly broken up. Despite the lack of releases and subsequent breakup, the group’s music has stood the test of time, continuing to be used in pop culture with “You’re Everything” being featured in season one of Fallout.
