The Dangerous Summer is an American rock band from Ellicott City, Maryland. The band originally formed during the summer of 2006, creating their first EP, which gained the attention of record labels. The group signed with Hopeless Records the following year, and released their debut album Reach For The Sun in 2009. The month after their third album was released in 2013, frontman AJ Perdomo left the band, and the group was subsequently dissolved during the years between 2014-2017. In 2017, however, the group reunited and announced the upcoming release of their self-titled album The Dangerous Summer, which was released in January 2018. The year afterwards, they put out their fifth studio album, Mother Nature.
