About The Cheetah Girls

The Cheetah Girls is a girl group that originated in 2003. The four members of the band are Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams, Sabrina Bryan and Raven-Symoné. The group was created for the 2003 Disney Channel movie) of the same name. The four girls' characters were “Chanel” (Adrienne), “Aqua” (Kiely), “Dorinda” (Sabrina) and “Galleria” (Raven-Symoné). The movie is based on a book series: four teenage girls hold on to their dream of musical fame while going through twists and turns in their personal lives.

The first four tracks created by the band were released in the movie soundtrack of the first Cheetah Girls movie. During the holiday season of 2005, the girl group released a Christmas album, their second album of their career. In the second movie (2006), nine new tracks from the band were released in the movie soundtrack, along with a few solo songs by Raven-Symoné.

In 2007, Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams and Sabrina Bryan released an album outside of the Disney Channel movie trilogy, and an EP that contains extra songs from the group. In the third and final movie, The Cheetah Girls: One World, the trio (Raven-Symoné was not starred) released their final soundtrack.
