The Carebear is a project started by Max Millar as an inspiration to The Caretaker, who in turn was started by James Leyland Kirby. The Carebear’s music consists of 1930s to 1950s records, that have become distorted, reversed, stretched, broken, and desolate. Max started the project, “Everywhere In The Beginning Of Nowhere” as a tribute to his grandmother with dementia. has since made multiple other albums about various topics.
