About The Burning Hotels

2003: In Fort Worth, Texas, Chance Morgan and Matt Mooty form a band, calling themselves The Burning Hotels. Their style has been described as post-punk revival, sex punk, and progressive rock.
2007: The Burning Hotels release their debut album, Eighty Five Mirrors.
2009: They appear in a movie starring Vanessa Hudgens, called Bandslam. The group performs as rivals to Hudgens' character and performs their own song, “Stuck in the Middle.”
2010: Their sophomore album entitled, Novels, is released.
2011: Their self-titled, and last album, is released.
2017: They are inducted into Fort Worth Weekly Hall of Fame and perform their last show on July 9th, 2017.
