The Bouncing Souls are a punk rock band from New Brunswick, New Jersey. They were formed in 1989 by vocalist Greg Attonito, guitarist Pete Steinkopf, bassist Bryan Kienlen and drummer Shal Khichi.
Their name comes from Doctor Martens' marketing slogan “With Bouncing Soles”, since their boots have been a part of punk fashion and youth culture for decades.
