About The Bennies

Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, The Bennies describe their music as “party music” – and rightfully so.

Creating Psychedelic Reggae Ska Doom Metal Punk Rock From Hell, The Bennies bring an iconically Australian vibe and combine a number of different genres to create their unique yet coherent sound.

Made up of vocalist/keyboardist Anty Horgan, guitarist/vocalist “King” Jules Rozenbergs, vocalist/bassist Craig Selak and drummer David “Bowie” Beaumont, The Bennies formed in 2009, originally called “Maddona” before the name change to “The Bennies” was decided on in 2011. They signed to Poison City Records in 2013 and have toured internationally with the likes of Dead Kennedys, NOFX and The Smith Street Band.

Their music typically address partying, drinking, drugs, and video games, and through their infectious upbeat music and their raucous live shows, they never fail to bring a sense of fun to all they create.
