Ben Baker and Michael Stensland’s passion for playing and writing music developed soon after they met in sixth-grade jazz band. That passion grew stronger and deeper as they transitioned into high school. In 2015, Ben and Michael formed a band with four close friends; that band performed at events and festivals around their home state of Wisconsin, drawing a strong local following and receiving accolades for their unique sound. After graduating from high school, together they created the electronic duo, “The Astronomers.” Mixing pop elements with distinct melodies, the duo is ready to introduce their sound to the world.
