The Alley Cats are a punk band from Los Angeles, California, that started in 1977. The original members of the band included Randy Stodola on guitar and vocals, bassist Dianne Chai, and John McCarthy on drums. The band was a fixture of the early LA punk scene, playing at iconic venues such as the Whiskey a Go Go and Hong Kong Cafe. The group broke up in 1982, but has since reformed with a changed lineup as of 2015.
