Terri Lynne Sauson was born on August 5, 1968 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to Les Samson and Linda Clark. She is a country music singer-songwriter who plays the guitar and drums. Terri has been married twice. She married Ted Stevenson in 1991 and the couple divorced in 1996. On September 17, 2005, she married Greg Kaczor, divorcing on February 16, 2007.
Terri has sold over five million albums. The Recording Industry Association of America and the Canadian Recording Industry Association have certified her albums gold, platinum, double platinum and triple platinum. She has an impressive list of awards. She is the 8 time winner of the Canadian Country Music Association award for Entertainer of the Year and 5 time winner of the Canadian Country Music Association award for Female Vocalist of the Year.
