Canadian musician Tennyson, aka Luke Tennyson Pretty, makes his intricately-designed electronic pop distinguishable by its creative, sample-heavy arrangements. Joined by his sister Tess — who drums during live performances, and occasionally appears on recordings — Tennyson’s music started out in a glitchy downtempo theme before evolving into the more playful, jazz-influenced sound of 2015’s Like What.

Tennyson surfaced on OWSLA with his danceable 2017 Uh Oh!, and later explored a more melancholy downtempo sound with more vocal-driven releases like 2022’s Rot – his full-length debut for Ninja Tune imprint Counter Records.
