Teesa Houston

Theresa “Teesa” Houston is an American songwriter and frontwoman of the EDM duo KOLAJ. Houston is of Polynesian background and grew up in Hawaii. She cites Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Incubus, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs as her influences.

Houston met producer “Mighty” Mike McGarity in 2009. Shortly after the two formed a band that would become KOLAJ.
