T-K.A.S.H. is a rapper, producer, athlete, and radio host based in Oakland, California, USA. His stage name is an acronym for, “Tomie-Keep A Steady Hustle.”
T-K.A.S.H. started his career in the late 90’s, releasing his first EP titled, “Bomb Threat,” before joining The Coup as a hypeman.
In 2002, T-K.A.S.H. released his album “Molotov Music,” which featured his former group The Coup and West Coast veteran E-40.
After hearing his debut project, veteran Bay Area firebrand Paris signed T-K.A.S.H. under the latter’s Guerrilla Funk Recordings, with T-K.A.S.H. making waves in 2006 with the release of his stand-out album, “Turf War Syndrome,” later releasing his sophomore album, “Brains All Over The Streets,” in 2009, also with Guerrilla Funk Recordings.
On December 31, 2017, T-K.A.S.H. announced in a post on his personal Facebook account that his contractual obligations as an artist for Paris' Guerrilla Funk Recordings has concluded “…on 100% great terms.”
Aside from hip-hop, T-K.A.S.H. also works as an academic counselor for UC Berkeley, and is an active athlete, having lost over 100 pounds.
