Synova (Jeremy Levin) is an indie-electronic artist and producer in Los Angeles. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on May 12, 1999, Levin played drums and guitar in local bands throughout his early teenage years. Inspired by artists such as Death Cab for Cutie, Lido, EDEN, The 1975, and Skrillex, Levin has been making music since the age of 6 and taught himself how to produce at the age of 12. In 2017, he caught the attention of other artists online with his music, which garnered more than 1 million plays across Soundcloud and Youtube. This led to collaborations with Just A Gent, a live opening for A R I Z O N A, and a guitar feature with Lani Rose. The name “Synova” was created with the intention of celebrating aspects of the Synesthesia phenomenon. Synova focuses on two major aspects of music; intricate and forward thinking production, and Introspective, melodic, and catchy songwriting. He heavily uses photography and other visual mediums as a way to portray the feelings in his sonics. On August 29th, 2020, Synova released his debut EP “A Digital Notebook”. This was the first time that he included his own voice in his music. He’s stated that he wrote the songs with the intention of “recreating the feelings of nostalgia, and setting the course for the future simultaneously”.
