Susan Florea Cagle (born 1981) is an American singer-songwriter originating from New York City, NY. Breaking free of her puritanical parents and upbringing involved with the renowned Christian cult, The Family, she escaped and made her home in New York playing in various subway stations with her siblings.

While performing on 34th Street–Herald Square station, she was discovered by Canadian songwriter and producer Jay Levine who landed her a deal with Columbia Records. Soon after, she released her debut album, The Subway Recordings, in 2006. The album was recorded live in various subway stations and featured original material written by Cagle and produced by Levine himself.

In 2009, Cagle left Columbia Records, signed with Capitol Records, and rebranded herself Susan Justice. She worked with megaproducer Toby Gad on her rootsy second album, Eat Dirt, which released March 26th, 2012. In addition to her own material, other artists like Miranda Cosgrove and the Veronicas have covered and recorded her songs such as “Shakespeare” and “Born Bob Dylan”.
