Stuart Zender was the original bass player for acid jazz group Jamiroquai. He was a member from 1992 through to the end of 1998.
MTV announced that he left the group to “spend more time with his budding family,” though fans have long believed that his departure from the band was acrimonious.
His departure derailed the sessions for the then-titled Symphonised. The album was scrapped soon thereafter. It’s speculated that the Synkronized track “King For A Day” is written about him.
