Strikez In The Mix is a sound engineer hailing from London who plays a role in recording, mixing, and mastering tracks, openly to genres like Hip-Hop, RNB, and Afroswing.
He has worked for Sav12 in Mask & Latex with Spanish rapper Beny Jr and Central Cee in Day In The Life (being Cench’s second most viewed single), Molly, and Mad About Bars all of which reached over 3 million views.
He describes the start of his journey and progress before fully becoming public as stated below:
“The sound started from when I was 14 years old. I was in my bedroom messing around with Logic Pro X & from there I told myself I wanted to become an engineer one day. Mixing and mastering are both complex tasks to complete and process. These skills have took me over 6+ years to find my own sound and by practicing and practicing everyday, I have learnt how to use my ears to listen for the smallest details in the mix.” (via his website)
“I used to work in a studio before in Wembley and from there, I just started progressing. I got lots [of] more experience with networking, social relationships with people, talking to people. You know, um, learning about the industry as well.”

Furthermore, musician GD gives his opinion on performing with Strikez in his personal studio.
“I come here because he’s good, he’s hard. Yeah, as an engineer, and that he’s good. He’s quiet, but he knows what he’s doing. I’ve used other studios and that but creatively… I find that it’s not the same”.
“And obviously like I said, my man knows a man’s sound, innit. He knows my range and whatever, whatever, so it’s easier to come here and then bang it out here. But for me to be in a space that’s creative, that’s what most important for me, innit. As I can’t speak for everyone else but for me, I need to be in an environment where I can let myself go and where I come here, I just let myself go.”
