Boitumelo “Tumi” Molekane is a South African rapper and poet. He was the lead vocalist of Tumi and the Volume, that was officially disbanded in 2012. He then continued with his music career under the monicker Tumi, releasing his last album under the name in 2015. 2016 saw the arrival of Stogie T with the release of a self titled album which features Emtee, Nasty C, Yanga and a host of other artists. The changing of names also came with a slight change in the topics usually covered by Tumi in his lyrics. Stogie T is a more relaxed, less political and dwells less in the deep or serious subject matter.
