Stimulus is an American nu metal band formed by Ricky Silva, and Damian Chaires. They are most famous for their song “I See” which debuted at number 10 on the Top Mainstream Rock Songs Chart and their most successful single to date, “Harden”. which debuted at number 3 on the Top Billboard 200 in 1997. They started out making music when it hit 1992 when they got signed to a record deal by Sylvia Massy after hearing them playing at shows and Open Mic Nights. The band started to record music resulting in albums such as Stimulus (1994), Follow Me (1997), Playm8ion (1998), Dampened (2000), Heritall (2002), Claydoh (2005) before entering a hiatus at the end of 2006 because the loss of Mike Kalousek who was fatally shot while driving to a bar in Central Texas. Stimulus would go on after the hiatus and loss to their band by making INS1DE (2012), Make for Break (2014), K4l0US3K (2017), and their most recent album, Involuntary (2018). Stimulus would go on in their career to sell 12 million copies worldwide.
