Steve Walsh is an American musician, singer and songwriter. He is best known for being the singer of the prog rock band Kansas. He retired from the band in 2014. He was born on the June 15th, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri. Before joining Kansas he was in the band White Clover. Then he joined Kansas in 1974 and stayed until 1980. But he returned in 1986 and stayed with the band until his retirement in 2014.
