Stephen John Hunter (born June 14, 1948) is an American guitarist. He commenced his professional music career when his friend, John Sauter, invited him to the new rock group Detroit. In the 1970s, Stephen released several albums together with Alice Cooper. He also launched his solo career by releasing his first album, Swept Away, in 1977. Later, he collaborated with Lou Reed, Aerosmith, Jack Bruce, and some others.
