Stephen Puth (born Stephen Carl Puth on April 13, 1994) is an American singer and songwriter, currently based in Los Angeles, California.

Born and raised in Rumson, New Jersey, he is the younger brother of Charlie Puth, who encouraged Stephen to pursue a career in music.

Puth was initially signed as a songwriter and wrote songs for a multitude of prominent artists including The Vamps.

He debuted as a solo artist in 2018 with the release of his debut single, “Sexual Vibe.”
