Stéphane Gagba (born May 13, 1998), better known professionally as Stéphane Legar, is a Togolese-Israeli singer, dancer, and runway model. His stage name is Legar or Le Gar – short for Le Garcon, “the boy ” in French. Many Israelis call him also by his mononym Stephane. He is an MTV Europe Music Awards Nominee twice over, both for Best Israeli Act, and his song Yala, featuring Tamta, was part of the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest, and his single Merci was part of the 2020 contest. His latest song as of writing is Speed Life, released on March 17th, 2022, and will be featured in the feature film Sonic The Hedgehog 2, releasing on April 8th, 2022.
